A post about tats...
I witnessed quite a display this Saturday. My friend Mercedes was looking to have her lower back tat outlined colored. A friends recommendation had this dude in from Detroit so it had to be done otherwise he wouldn't be around for awhile. She already had an outline to which the tat guy thought was shoddy work. Never to fear, he was gonna fix that shit up,.
I get that about an hour deep and he has one butterfly colored. I could not believe the blend of colors!!! I was transfixed. Now, my knowledge of tats is limited to SG and NY INK and the occasional magazine. So I am a novice by all means.
I live down the street so I soon went back to my place and mixed up some Tito's Vodka and Diet Pepsi. I ate a pot cookie, grabbed a few pills and was on my way (I am suffering a strained lower back). I gave said pills to tattoo guy since he was hurting... I mean he only had another 8-9 hours left of coloring. It was great. he had his heavy metal rambling in his ear and he was in a zone. A stand up dude. A true artist who took up tattooing to make lootcake. My girl was tough as nails... a few relaxers later... I don't know how anyone can sit there for that long getting needles. She kept her eye on the prize. She was excited all week. I loaned her some of the loot to make this happen. I like to make people smile. It's what a do!!! Check it out... (I have tried to get her to take a photo shoot to become an SG Hopeful, but she doesn't want her face on the net. Damn shame.. she is beautiful!

I want to get the melting clock to the left of the painting. I had wrestled for years about the location on my body (felt the shoulder blade was best)....and whom would have the honor to do the work. It was a fruitless battle. After seeing the finished work (above) I think I found my guy. He recommended the clock starts on the front of the shoulder and works toward the back....

You're right. The color in that is outstanding, and typically photos don't do tattoos justice.

I was floored. Nice to see someone more clued in that I am about this. thank you! I wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. I want this dude to do my clock! I know it 100%... I just don't know when he will be back around next.
