ok so i need some advice. I'm kinda in a sticky situation and i would like to know what y'all think, or just an opinion on the matter. So my brother and his girlfriend just broke up a couple weeks ago. they dated for a little over a year. I think my brother was about ready to propose before she called it off. Neway she spent a lot of time at our apartment. Her and i got to be pretty good friends. She's like a little sister to me. The 3 of us all work at the same store, and when i see her i still talk with her. Although her and my brother arent talking at all.
So i guess what it comes down to is, that i still hanging out with her. She sent me a text today that she was worried that when her and my bro broke up she would lose me as one of her closest friends. I guess the thing is that i dont know if i should spend time with her. I mean is it wrong that a keep a friendship with a girl that broke my brothers heart? (for the record, there is no romantic feelings between the 2 of us) I just dont know if its ok to go out and do things with her. I feel like im betraying my brother. But at the same time, i dont want to lose a friend over this. Ne help would be great

Just wanted to stop by. It's been awhile since we have talked. I hope things are going well. Here's my advice take it or leave it. It is only my experience after all, but it really hurt me when I found out that my old roommates were hanging out with my ex on a regular basis. I wouldn't have liked it either way because they knew what an abusive prick he was, but if they were going to hang out with him I wish they would have told me. Good luck in whatever you decide.
