I pulled a sword out of a sword-swallower's body at the Fluffgirl Burlesque show last night! Woo! It was fun! I was second place in the shimmy contest, too, but the winner was some lady in her forties who had a bunch of loud drunk friends cheering for her. Oh well. She must have felt hot beating out the four young chicas up there.

I don't really get how SG could get in trouble for their images (the blood and bondage ones). I mean, it's soft core - there's so much worse out there, would they really go for such a tame sight? Does this mean fetish sites are getting shut down or something? All I have found on this issue is one dinky article that doesn't sound that scary. What the hell is going on?

All this anti-SG crap is confusing me, too. I don't know whether to believe it or what. If those who are bitching about the company's practices were a little more eloquent in their ranting, I might buy it, but with only one side of the story...who's to trust? I think I'll just keep enjoying the naked ladies for the meantime.

I've got so much going on right now, funwise and workwise both. Fluffgirl, Rasputina (I might go), SG Burlesque...then all the school stuff. I still don't know if I was supposed to start my job last week...no one has told me anything. So I'm just going to show up this weekend and hope for the best.

I really miss Andre. A lot. A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT. I feel like someone has died. He's on the other side of the ocean and I can't even get a hold of him to say hi.
