I saw "Inside Deep Throat" tonight. It's interesting to some of the real story that influenced "Boogie Nights". Not that "BG" was based on "Deep Throat" or anything, but the character Jack Horner has a lot of the philosophy of "DT"s director, Harry Reems ended up panhandling on the street after his fame, stuff like that. A lot of the documentary was on the censorship and crazy shit that went on with the mob ties, distribution, and Reems almost going to jail. They mention the feminists hurting porn (I hate those fucking feminists) and stuff like that... very interesting.
I bought Kevyn Aucoin's book "Making Faces", and I'm going to do some dress-up with makeup looks. He does that whole making people look like classic stars thing...and I'm going to play. What else is there to do on a Friday night?
