you know what is just MADDENING? when people who weren't there for you when you were at your lowest point suddenly decide they get to act like a martyr because you made the really difficult, really conscience effort to stop calling them. you didn't want to, but they never called you back, and so you had to stop relying on them when you were down. but now here they are, when you're almost happy again, and they want to make you feel guilty for not being there for THEM?!

there was my rant for the day, and now i'm going to try to get past my own insecurities and have a nice lunch out with my girlfriend before i have to be stuck in the house on this gorgeous day writing these take home exams.
