It's 3:18 a.m. and I am just now deciding to go to sleep. I worked at the office until 2 a.m. tonight.
Tomorrow I have to interview my final source for my localized tsunami story, write my tsunami story, make corrections to my column, make corrections to my story about the alternative energy center, call and find out the names of the people in this family for a photo we're running, go to Lee Hall with Don before 2:30 so we can take pictures, go to class at 3:00, go to class and 6:00 and somehow in there still find time to edit a whole shit load of stories and lay them out. We're fucked. Totally fucked.
Oh, did I mention I have to read 14 chapters in Little Women? Oh, right, I don't get to do homework.
I am so sick of the editor. Being managing editor, now, makes me realize what a crap job he really is doing. He took a story for me this week because no writers were back, then he took a story for diversions, then he decided to write a column, in addition to writing the editorial and COPY EDITING like he should be doing. I have a horrible feeling I'm going to be stuck writing an editorial tomorrow about something I know nothing about (the topic was originally snow removal to complement his story; however, he's not doing that story now so it's fucking lame to run an editorial about it.) ARGH!
Akira, thank you tons and tons for listening to me whine tonight.
