Why do I hate living in the country?

I walked into the house of a party I was invited to. There were a bunch of twenty something kids standing around a counter laughing their heads off; I presumed they were just talking.

Turns out the giggles were induced. By a rag and a giant bottle of Ether. And as they're doing this, they're making jokes...

No worries man. I'm in for a while. Gotta pay the rent and all and I need a reliable source of income so Lucy can hopefully go back to school.

I love my friends, but sometimes...

I want to go see the Movie Serenity. it's funny, it has action and it got really good reviews.

My friends want to see the Jessica Alba movie, for the sole reason that she spends most of the movie in a bikini. Now I think Jessica Alba is real good looking too, but why would anyone want to see...

The days are spread out a bit. I think it's two Fridays, two Wednesdays and a Monday. The Wednesdays wouldn't be a problem, I'd just come in on the Tuesday or Thursday instead.

Also, since I forgot to ask, what's the policy on piercings and hair? Do I have to go get myself a retainer for my nose?

marlowe:
If it's good, you better tell me. I want to go see it but have been so busy lately.

(if it's worth it I'll make the time though!)

Yeah for Karaoke! I don't sing (both because of consideration towards other peoples ears and due to the fact that I'm a wee bit of a chickenshit), but it's always a fun time anyways.

Quiting smoking was a miserable failure. I lasted like a week and half, two weeks at most. I'm going to try again starting next monday, and I think I'll have to...

what book were you reading?
kiss
radiofrank:
We noticed your book, actually, and I think it is in FP's care at the moment.

Having concern for other people's hearing didn't stop me, so I demand that you sing at the next karaoke meet! biggrin

In any event, I'm glad that you had a good time, and it was great to see you again.

On friday I went and saw the 40 year old Virgin. I haven't laughed that hard in a theatre in gosh only knows how long.

I laughed so hard that I dropped my wallet in theatre, and had to back down to the city the next day to pick it up again.

I watched "My first mister" with Leelee Sobleiskli (sp?) and Albert Brooks again...

The last time I laughed really hard at the theatre is when I went to see Wedding Crashers. Have you seen that yet?

I don't think I've seen the other movie, though.

My weekend was fairly uneventful and spent at work; I trust that yours was pleasant.

...and you had better be there tomorrow night! *shakes fist* biggrin
swindy:
never have seen that movie, hmmm maybe i should.

Well, I went on a little spending spree. I bought a new electric shaver, so now it doesn't take me a half hour to shave. I also bought a jacket and a pair of jeans; cost me around $250, which is the second time in my life that I've paid over $200 for clothes in one go (the first was my lambskin leather pants).

It's...

Archived girl favourites rules!

For shits and giggles, I've now got Nala, Mary, and Morgan up there. My first three favourites (back when there were only three). I remember when Mary's page said "this girl does not keep a journal on this site." Morgan really never left my favourites, but it's cool to see what you couldn't up there until recently(Nala).

Is it weird to...

Yes, I suppose that I did set myself up for that, good sir - nor do I blame you for pointing out the obvious. wink

I'm not entirely certain that I will be there on Monday, but it seems rather likely. I look forward to seeing you there. smile
elana:
You're right! I somehow have to see this DVD. Are you coming out on Monday?

Question time. I'm going to be 100% honest here.

1. If you could do anything with your life, what would it be?

I'd be a singer and write great introspective lyircs and sing them really well. Unfortunatly, I think I'm tone deaf.

2. Your one favourite song?

"The Other Side" by David Gray

3. If you could choose the manner in which you died, what...

1. If you could do anything with your life, what would it be?

i'd have a blast.

2. Your one favourite song?

i never have an alltime favourite. right now i'm obsessed with guns n' roses, so something by them. maybe garden of eden at this moment, as it's in my head.

3. If you could choose the manner in which you died, what would it be?

make it a surprise.

4. What thing are you most ashamed of doing/ not doing in your life?

there's a boy i wish i'd pounced when i had the chance. but that's it. i do what i want, and i'm not ashamed of what i've done.

..........

holy hell i went to bradford high. that place was horrible.
jordan:

Yesterday was an eventful one...

I quit my weekend job. I got injured, and my boss complained that he had to bartend the opening rush, and told me carry a case of champagne up three flights of stairs. So eager to please me, I wobble up the stairs carrying the case of twelve bottles of Champagne. I realize they are not the kindest people in...

Between the sets from Amina and India, I think I've gone and had a heart attack. So much hotness coming our way recently it's ridiculous (in a good way mind you).

With certain people away from work on vacation, I've been finally able to catch up on my work and I'm almost at a point where I can receive P.O.'s on time. We're still looking...

So you want an evilmonkeyfingerpointer? I wonder where you got that idea from? wink

Get the DVD! You will be rather impressed, to say the least. It's even better than I thought it would be.

I still wouldn't call myself a stalwart of the site or anything like that. I'm just a guy who has written something that other people like, and that's enough for me. smile

Have a good time at the George Carlin show, you lucky bastard. That should be most interesting, to say the least...
cottser:
Helper monkeys are always good. Hope you get a good one.

Keep at the non-smoking thing, at least you're making headway.

Enjoy George, very funny man.
