Well, I've gone and done it folks. I'm offically a liscenced fork lift driver.
The video's they had at the training were awesome. One had the Top Gun theme by Kenny Loggins as it's theme song, and the other was called, "When forklifts kill". Man, it had blood shooting out of peoples kneecaps and people getting crushed into pillars and falling over into a bloody heap. As far as B Movies go, it was pretty good.
I worked on both Saturday and Sunday, and decided that I hated doing my weekend job every week, so I gave a half-assed two weeks notice. I got asked out by two different girls at work in the span of twenty minutes. Amusing and flattering, but I turned them both down.
I felt pretty damn good looking on Sunday though, let me tell you.
Went to try and get my car back today. I had to pay $1035 for the engine replacement. Only my bank sucks, and lowered my accounts max purchase amount by $300, so I couldn't pay the whole amount. So now I have to take time off of work to go and pay for the rest of my car off tommorrow morning.
My work gave me my pension plan info. I realize it's totally prudent to start investing in retirement and everything early, but it's still a little odd to be paying for my old age retirement fund (which won't even exist by the time I retire, the way our government spends money).
Ciao for now everyone!
