Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks for me, which is why I haven't been around much. I missed the SG Prom because my car broke down the day before, which kinda sucked. $200 dollars later, it was up and running, and has actually been running real good since.
I was accepted to University in the fall, which means come September, I'll be quitting my career where I make just over 30K to make like 8/hr stacking books. But the struggles for the next three years will equate to a degree, hopefully in both Political Science and Creative Writing(we'll have to see how the double major plan goes). And as my friend always tells me, eduaction is an investment you never lose on(provided you finish of course).
IN preperation for the big school adventure comes the big moving one. I decided that I can't afford to live a) in the country where the hyrdo bills in the summer months are around $120. b)where I need to own a car that constantly breaks down on me and costs me a minimum of $400 dollars a month to operate(200/insurance, 200 gas).
With that in mind, I've found myself a new place in the city, near York university, which I will be moving into in about a month. So say hello city to the wonderful person that is me.
I keed, I keed. You don't have to say hello.
Maybe then I'll actually be able to come out to the occassional SG function, maybe a karaoke or two.
In other news, I'm off to help my friends move. So hopefully I'll be able to finish helping in time to attend the wonderful lucy's wonderful birthday bash, though I'm not holding my breath. But these friends are providing me a truck to help me move when I do, so I should return the favour for them.
Ciao for now!
P.S. The new site design is pretty darn cool if I do say so myself.
