I went to Humber college yesterday to follow up with the financial aid department. When I went there two months ago, the lady from the department told me that once I get my acceptance from York University, they could help transfer my bank loans into student loans so I could go to school. Of course, when I talked to the same lady, the story was completely different. So that ended being a dead end. It spurred me into applying in the first place, so I'm not hate, but I do wish that people would take the time to listen to you before giving you answers.
Today I went ot the bank and applied for a student loan. The max for a student line of credit doesn't equal what I owe, but if I can even get that amount for the loan, and pay the rest as normal, then I think I'll be okay for school. I hope it pays off. I really do.
In other news, with school and moving approaching, I decided that I could afford to only do either the SGProm or my friends cottage for the July long weekend. And then I went out and bought a new tie. So I guess I'll see everyone at the end of the month.
