San Francisco.
I heart you.
After being here for over a year now I really feel as though I am part of the city. Although I spent most of the first few months friendless and disconnected, I still loved the city. I moved here without knowing anybody or really having much of a plan, other than resuming my education eight months after I would have taken up residence. Thank you California State budget crisis for suspending my transfer and suspending me in a psuedo-academic purgatory.
I always felt I was a city guy. Being from Orange County isn't exactly rural life, but it is not city life either. It's, maybe the worst case, Super-Suburbia!
I love not having a car. I love being able to avoid chains fairly easily. I love public transportation both for its pros and cons. I love distinct neighborhoods. I love free museum days and public green spaces. I love running into people as though it were a small town, because spatially, it's a small city! I love the style, the culture, the aura. I even, sometimes, love the weather.
I've always had a touch of the wanderlust and am eagerly anticipating other places to take up residence in.
But for now, I am in San Francisco and loving it!
-- For any who might care, I am starting a new tumblr. I know you probably don't know me, but that does not mean that we should not take interest in one-another.

I can be funny and somewhat insightful.
Plus, I use the internet a lot so I'll probably reblog a bunch of cool tattoo/punk/animal/funny stuff. =]
