finally got a new computer that's working pretty well so I've decided to check up on everyone on my friends list that I haven't been able to say hi to in awhile.
My SG group application has been accepted, so I am now the proud owner of SG Pulp Fiction. It's a group devoted horror, sword and sorcery, hardboiled mystery and all things pulp. Anyway, I'd love to have you in the group.
Hey Everyone! Vegas was great. I left the day of the big arrest in London and thus had to repack at the last minute and then head for Target as soon as I stepped off the plane, but one should always be flexible when traveling. I only wish I had longer than just the weekend. Will probably go out for Christmas next. Would love to... Read More
OMG I haven't even heard of this place. We don't watch a whole lot of TV and when we do it's not channels that would have commercials for that! I'm pretty sure nickelodeon and the cartoon network and the like don't advertise for it. However, now I'm soooo going to have to look that up and I might even make some of my girlfriends go with me HA!
My husband had to fly to Mexico after the whole London thing so it was even harder for him to pack. Customs and all. YIKES. I'm glad you had a good time and yeah, no vacation is ever really long enough!
Thanks for the nice words in my journal. Some people's kids don't have any manners. That guy, is one of those people. He's started an argument with my husband now and is making NO sense there either. Oh well, maybe he'll grow up one day. (at 37 I'd assume he'd done that but I guess not)
♥♥
Thanks! I'm sure we'll have a blast. Glad you had a good time in Vegas. It's a wild town. The two shots in my current journal entry are from a trip to Vegas. I used OMP to arrange shoots with five models while I was there. This gal was one I'd shot with when she was in Missouri (she's in the military). We went out to the Lake Mead Recreation Area, just about 20 minutes or so from LV.
Hey Guys! Sorry I was MIA for awhile. I am leaving for a trip to LV on Thurs! Yea! Cannot wait to visit friends and all my favorite spots (none of which are casinos). Hope all of you have fantastic weekends!!!
I recently got my myspace page up and going again for all my friends who are cheap and won't buy an SG membership. Not 24 hrs had passed b4 someone was sending me a cheesy pick/up message. It makes me love the cool kids here at SG all the more.
Had a bit of trouble figuring out how to post a new blog but I'm here now. Not sure how the little description on my profile page got there but it's very sweet. Is there still place to see peoples favorite books, bands etc. or do they just have that tiny place to put in info? I'm not afraid of change just trying to figure... Read More
Who ever wrote your profile stuff wrote mine tooo... That's strange... =) anyway I changed my name.. I love that movie.. anyway i too am having a hard time with this new set up but so far so good
I have a different hair color so I thought a different picture was in order, and I was tired of the other one. I don't love this one but it was the right size. I'll work on a better one this weekend.
Ok, so I have left comments with all my friends here SG land, now I can relax. Started a new job, paid holidays, paid sick days, paid vacation. No more on call and I can wear dangerously high heels. Yeah for me (but not my feet)!
Nah, you don't suck. You're just too busy like all the rest of us! And besides, you don't need to come to Art in the Park to meet. Maybe we could get together for lunch some time. Once I get my portfolio updated I could show that to you and we could even talk about shooting some time.
Don't worry, I don't bite. Well, not hard, anyway.
Good luck at your new job.
By all means, stay away from "How the West Was Won," though the Henry Hathaway segment isn't bad, with Eli Wallach doing his Mexican bandit schtick.
I am a very bad SG member. I should do a much better job of communicating with you guys. Not much going on here, but everything is going great. Hope everything is really fantastic for all you.
Yeah, the good definitely helps even out the bad, though it gets me a little seasick changing so fast! LOL Things are a little better now, though still up in the air. Thanks for your thoughtful concern, though.
It's been awhile since I wrote. A friend of my attempted suicide recently so I have been a bit distracted with that. She was just released from the hospital and I am a little worried they let her go too soon, but I can only do so much.
Eek. Don't take on more responsibility than you can handle. Depression is a serious illness, and not something any one person can do much about. It's wonderful to be a friend and helpful, but don't think you are responsible for whether she gets better or worse.
So hello! And I hope you are doing well!
