Have you ever wanted something so much it occupied your every thought?

So now lets suppose this want has your head spinning and your heart skipping, has you short of breath and feeling helpless.

You feel like a junkie dying for a fix.

And the needle is right there in front of you, would be so easy to pick up and would make you soar the heavens, and you know that it would last forever, that perfect fix that would be so much better than any other. Its so close, its just begging you to pick it up.

But that needle belongs to someone you respect and admire, and you know that if you took his fix he would just die from the loss.

And to further complicate it, you already have your own stash, which has been relatively pleasant and kept you going, and the first time it didnt get you where you wanted to be was the night before that other fix offered itself to you.

Now you are this raving junkie, you dont want your needle anymore and it still wants to be in your arm and be the high of your days, and you feel like shit about not wanting it.

Hah hah, life is fucking beautiful.
