For whatever my reasons, I've avoided drama like the plague for most of my adult life. As nice as it sounds in principle, it's left me pretty aloof and I feel it's reflected in my work. Everything I do is extremely technical and rarely has any emotional connection. I even tend to view work that is too emotionaly driven as cheesy.

I think I and my work could benefit from opening up. I'm tired of feeling like a tourist on planet earth.
