Ever find out someone from Real Life has a connection to SG world?
It's weird, isn't it?
Let's make a list:
I'm getting back into Elliot Smith again. Observe my senstive poet's soul!
I spent a good portion of today explaining the narrative complexities of Ghostbusters 2 and Crocodile Dundee to Handsome G
I'm going to China! I'm going to eat scorpions, but not dogs, because you can converse with dogs. Scorpions are just venomous sods with no room in their bleak souls for romance.
Dogs are a stoic sort who know the value of maintaining a philosophical silence whilst a man talks the weight from off of his soul. Maybe the kind of weight that comes from falling hard for a woman, I couldn't possibly say.
I Love Mike Patton (skip to the end)
Other stuff I've been listening to this past three-month, aside from Elliot "Stab-Chest" Smith, arranged for your convienence in size-of-name order
Pendulum
DJ Format
Saul William
Postal Service
Roots Manuva
We Are Scientists
Avenged Sevenfold
Death Cab For Cutie
I've been a little hip hop sparse recently, and I feel the need to amend this. CHOSEN FEW, Recommend me something new! Excite my primate brain!
In other news...
Paul's Big Plan
Have you ever heard of the BMW Isetta?
Nicknamed the "rolling egg", the BMW 250, 300, 600 and Isetta cars were designed at a time when cheap, short distance transportation was needed.
In classic understatement, BMW ads for the USA called the car "a new conception in vehicle design."
The cars have a one-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine with a 4-speed transmission. The top speed is 53 mph, and it gets 63 miles per gallon.
The Plan is as follows;
Seven pretty! girls, each with a Isetta painted in a soft pastel shade of their choice.
One perfect day in late summer, reminiscent of the care free days of childood, and endless afternoons running and laughing amongst warm grass, and the first girl you ever kissed.
Brands Hatch Race Track.
The society of agreeable and handsome companions, each skilled in conversation and possesing keen intellect, sophisticated wit and good appetite for gentle wagers and whimsical sport.
A fine spread of game and seasonal fruits.
Culminating in; RACE!
Who wants in?

And if you're after hip-hop, I recommend some of Ratatat's remixes, because Ratatat are awesome, you should check their stuff out.
I've not been in a hip-hop mood lately either. I have no recommendations.
I like your plan.
