I have waited and waited for the prefect girl to come along and now that she has, I don't know what I am doing.
Yesterday, Jennifer (The girl from the last post) called me and wanted to know if I wanted to go to the movie Bewitched with her at 7:30 pm. I said sure and that I would like to buy the tickets with that was fine with her, and said that I didn't have to do that unless I wanted too, I said it was no problem. She also ask if I could pick her up from work, because she had to run to work and it would be nice to have a ride back.
So I pick her up from work and we go to the movie. Now I guess this is the close thing to a first date that I have ever had in my lifewe , but I don't really know if it was a date other than the fact that I paid for her ticket. We both had a good time, but I it was like we just hung out (which was fine my me). I just didn't know if this was a "date" and if it was I didn't know what exactly I should have done on the first date.
After the movie, we we're both inbetween being hungry and not, but we came to the conclusion that either one of us was hungry enough to eat. Plus I thought it would have been weird to eat at a fast food place as our first resturant if this was actually a date.
So I took her home, because she would like to hang out some more tonight, but she had to get up early for work the next day. I said that was fine, because I knew that she was already tired from the week.
I don't think she was trying to aviod me or anything, because early in the week I asked if she would like to hang out this weekend and she said possibly because she might have to go Littleton for her sister's 16th birthday. So I was suprised when she called me on Friday to go to the movie, but she explained that she had to wake up early for work on Sat, so she had to stay in Boulder. Also, when I picked her up, she said that she was invited to two of her close friend's parties, but she rather go to the movie because she was really tired.
Like I said before I don't really know what I am doing, I have been so picky with girls that I have wanted to date, that when the prefect one comes around , I have no exprience with dating or anything. I think she likes me (although I am not sure), but I think she kind of is picking up that I have no clue what I doing and she is kind of taking charge. When we are at her apartment she tells me to sit on the couch next to her, and she had told me of all things and places that she wants to do or see in Boulder, or the whole movie thing.
In that list of things, she mentioned that she really wanted to go to Dushanbe Teahouse, which sounded really cool to me. I was thinking of buying her lunch/dinner at the Teahouse as like an official first date. It looks like a nice place and it's a nice mixed of a fancy and a casual setting. When I do ask her to go out to dinner, should I say like "Would you like to go out with me to the Dushanbe Teahouse for dinner sometime?" or what key words should I use and not use?
Any advice is welcome, I am always willing to learn.
