Two exciting things happend this weekend.
First, on Friday I voted early for Nader. I don't really feel that either Bush or Kerry are the candiate that represents me best and rather that not voting that I figured that I would help out Nader. Hopefully one day we can break the two party system, but most likely not. I hate how Democrats and Republicans hardly different in the grand scheme of things. Yes they differ on most social issues like religion, abortion, and then there's their tax policies, but for the most part they never really change anything. No one will ever start the draft again, no one will ever illegalize abortion again, no one will have the guts to legalize at least weed, no one has the guts to end the war on drugs or to open up the border. They can never totally differ from each other and normal, because then they would lose the moderate section of their party and mostly likely lose the election. No one will ever disrupt the status quo, which is sad but true. BTW, I am not a political expert by any means, but I try my best.
Second, last night I go over to Max's to do homework. Now for the 6 hours before this Max was lost in the forest on a hike with Diana and her roomate. It was raining and they were lucky that someone found them, or else the would still probably be lost right now. Any way, I am being my normal self and joking around with Max. I didn't know that he had been lost and everything, so I figure that he was just grumpy. So I start pushing his buttons for the fun of it, and they he first threats to stab me with a pencil. Then for so reason I felt like pushing his buttons some more, so he throws my back pack out his 2 story window into the snow. So then I start laughing, because I thought it was funny and then he gets his belt and starts hitting things with it and threatening me with it. Then he kicks me out of his apartment.
Now if I knew that Max had been lost for all those hours in the rain. I would have never been pushing his buttons, but since he didn't tell me that story until today, there wasn't much I could do. I kinda feel bad about the whole thing, but he did throw my back pack into the snow and everything. Probably we both should grow up. lol
EDIT: New pic also!

And I've been voting third party since '92 (first Libertarian and then Green). It was a break for me to vote mainstream again. I don't like that Nader lost last time: I don't mean the election; I mean getting 5% of the national vote to make the Greens a viable party. He even abandoned the Greens after the election.
But everyone ought to vote their conscience. I think.

you voted for nader....much more brave than i could say for myself! i voted straight democrat. i feel like an irresponsible citizen for not creating a more informed opinion on a lot of the candidates. but it looks like my energy bill will pass!
your friend is not only a drunkard, but abusive as well?!
