Viola just put up her first set! woo! My personal favorites are actually the first few.
This damn 90 degree humid weather is going to be the death of my hands and feet. I don't know how I'd ever be able to move south and live in a climate where it's warmer for a longer period of time. I don't think the humidity would do a whole lot of difference. I have to move somewhere with a cooler climate and a socialist government. awwww, that'd be the life for me. What's so wrong about socialism? But dammit, I'm going to visit the wavepool this summer if it kills me.
On Wednesday night Jessica called me up and we saw Dark Water with her brother Cameron, which was pretty meh even when gazing at the gorgeosity of Jennifer Connelly. Then we all went back to their house and played a PS2 version of one of those Japanese arcade dance games. I thought it'd be pretty stupid at first, but I had so much damn fun that I actually bought a dance pad and game for myself yesterday! holy crap is it fun! helluva work out, too.
I'm not sure how much I'll actually say about my brief jaunt to Chicago to visit Jason, but suffice it to say that I had a blast and it was actually nice to hang out with another male for once, to just be with a guy and be a guy. The first day was by far the best. The train was not unlike the Metro, only cleaner and with fewer transients (i.e. no personality). There was lots of walking around the city and checking out the various types of scenery. I bought movies, cds, books (including The Zombie Survival Handbook!).
Jason was invited to a movie premiere get together for a friend of his who did the sound on the premiering film. What we thought was going to be a very small gathering of people actually turned out to be an actual Party, complete with alcohol and a band, at the sound studio where Jason's friend does his work. In hindsight it looks like I did a lot of drinking, but I reeeaaaally didn't. I talked to this kyooooooooot girl with glasses who worked as an actor for some of the local films and had a very slight Mississippi accent, something I would usually find unattractive but actually increased the adorability. Then I discovered that she was 27 years old and we didn't really have anything in common at all. but she was a button, she was. Later on I was creeped out when Jen, the girl who drove us to the party, was obviously drunk and started rubbing her leg up against me. Hey, I'm all up for leg-rubbing. just. not from her.
Jason was able to get some girl's phone number, but he's one of those bastards who doesn't call afterwards. But yeah, I suppose people are different sober and during the day from when they're at a night party and drunk. This was honestly my first real "party," and I had myself a moderate amount of fun.
Afterwards Jason and I went to this guy, JT's, house and were going to watch some Family Guy, but were deterred by a drunken stoop party where we spent WAY to fucking long talking to a bunch of inebriated and boring as hell jerk-wads. holy jesus ass harold fucking christ almighty. So it wasn't until about 5:00 AM until we got back to JT's house and watched some Family Guy and spent the night.
I can't really remember what we did the next day. I was too tired. Jason took me around to a lot of the thrift shops where I bought bowling shoes and some clothes that no doubt make me even more metrosexual, went to Navy Pier, and later on we watched Wet Hot American Summer which was funny as hell and may need to purchase. I also think we went to a bar and I got bored. Aaaand that's pretty much all that happened the second day.
On the third day we took a boat tour and went to the museum to see dead bodies on display! woo! I dunno. I could go on for hours about what Jason and I did, but that probably wouldn't interest anyone except myself. So I leave with a few pictures from my excursion!
It's the vagina building! What? Don't you see it?
Jason's fabulous house
Tabitha! The most affectionate kitty I've even known! awwww.
Jason and me in front of a theater thinger. yeah. . .
Libraries make me haapeeeee

More photos can be seen in the Chicago picture section and then one of these days I'll scan some postcards I bought from the museum and post them. Oooooh man it was cool.

Have you tried asking yourself?
Then go to where ever you go to accept or decline friendships, and make the tough choice. Do you really want to be friends with that creepy guy?
