I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind again last night and that is a DAMN fine movie. Aside from the mind wiping, there seem to be a few parallels between Joel and Clementine's relationship and my previous one. shite. It probably wasn't in the best interest of my mental health to watch that movie, but I felt compelled, I had to. I don't regret it. I think I actually feel better.
Today I unload all the crap from moving back, watch the Christmas episode of Invader Zim and possibly watch Apocalypse Now.
Other movies I need to see:
Rear Window
Razor's Edge
The Godfather
2001: A Space Odyssey
Full Metal Jacket
Dr. Strangelove
Wet Hot American Summer
The Passion of the Christ--just out of curiosity
Almost every David Lynch film
Suspirio
Audition--FUCKED up Japanese horror flick
And there are probably loads of others I can't remember at the moment. I'll add more onto it in later entries.
If anybody does happen to read this, I suggest you read the graphic novel Blankets by Craig Thompson. It's absolutely gorgeous.
