Decided.
It feels like so much has happened in the past week.
I'm staying in Arizona afterall. And I cant even believe how happy I am to say that! In this last week I have made the solid decision to stay here, for an amount of time unknown, to continue to save and take classes beginning this fall. Ill be eligible for in state tuition at that time, which is great incentive to stay.
On top of that, yesterday we found THE apartment. And by "we", I mean Merit and I. Its just...perfect. The most beautiful kitchen, concrete walls (teehee), and plenty of space. I love it I love it I love it. If nothing comes up, we put money down on it in just a few weeks. I wanted to cry yesterday, I loved it so much. I cant explain how I feel. Its so....enlightening.
To top it off, Merit is joining me on my trip to Chicago to pick up a car and drive it back. My mind went crazy thinking of all the places to show her. It will be so good for both of us. And I want to see my dog. ) We'll only be in Illinois for about 2 days, barely. Wont leave much time for other plans outside of seeing the city!
There's so much excitement going on right now. Im on commission at work now, and my first check on it is going to be about 600 bucks. (Im paid weekly). That makes me very happy. No more money scares. Affording rent, and whatever junk food and as much pasta as I please.
What a relief.
With the excitement brings some sad stuff, the new apartment brings a goodbye to my relationship. John is still moving to Seattle and I dont know how I feel about it. I desperately need to find myself again. I need ME time, but when I think about that day when I watch him drive away, the only thing I can imagine is devastation. Bah.
Things arent always perfect, but times like now make me remember how much I love my life.
