9-11. My thoughts.
Okay, Im prepared to be yelled at for this. But, Im fucking sick of hearing about 9/11. Yes, it was tragic, even I cried.
Please. Tell me what the friggin point is of exploiting these familes and people who have lost people that day on television. And dont even think for a second to tell me "Oh, its so that everyone else knows the pain of these people" because unless its YOUR husband that died there, or your whoever, you wont fucking know. This is a very sick form of entertainment.
To top it off, some asshole gave the OK to release phone calls and 911 calls to these news stations, for what? Sure, it gives us a real insight to what happened, but what these people said to their loved ones when they called them or they exact fear in their voice while talking to a 911 operator isnt our fucking business. Its personal. Just because theyre dead doesnt mean its any less private. Turn off your fucking tv, stop preying on their pain to fill something inside of you, you sick fuck.
But okay, I do like the idea that they are rebuilding there. But calling it the freedom tower? Im sorry, but if I was a terrorist, that would be a huge red flag telling me to blow it up. Does anyone else see that as a "what the fuck were you thinking?" thing? Freedom tower, my ass. We didnt gain or lose any freedom that day. All that was lost were innocent people. Freedom Tower is just going to be a big FUCK YOU to them and Im going to just wait for something else to happen. Call me pessimistic. *rolls eyes*
And Its going to be the new tallest building in America. Fuck You, New York....fuck you. Does that make the Sears Tower less of a threat? Whatever, Sears Tower is way better anyway.

I agree that calling the new buildings the Freedom Towers is a bit of a stretch as our freedom has not been compromised in any way. If they must rebuild on the site I would rather they build something for cultural understanding and nonviolent solutions to global issues.
