.44 calliber loveletter, straight from my heart
lying in bed; 23:45 PM, hot night, insomnia seeping into my brain, windows open, light flowing in from the street lights. the tram stops, the doors hiss open. the smell of smoke fills my lungs, and calms me. the doors of the tram hiss closed and it moves on. i look outside, from the 3rd story building - a couple walk by, holding onto eachother for dear life; he kisses her cheek; she giggles. somewhere in the distance, a siren pierces the night air. the warm breeze refreshes my soul; my lover kisses my neck and whispers sweet nothings in my ear; he says he will love me forever; that he'd die if he were to lose me - then, just like that, he leaves with his baggage and his hand on the door; seems like im the only one who didnt know.
in the next room, i sit in silence as i watch my sister sleep like an angel - the summer is here; lifes are ruined, love is lost, hearts are broken; but at least, she is here with me -
MY WRISTS ARE PROOF OF THIS
[CROSS MY HEART WITH MY BLOODIED HANDS AND HOPE TO DIE]
