so as of friday september 24th i am engaged!
its on my middle finger because its alittle big.
after dating for almost a year and talking about getting married and being forever since 2 months together my boyfriend proposed to me on the dock of the pond at my cabin in wisconsin in full moonlight on a crisp fall night. we had been sitting around the fire having a few drinks and enjoying this last weekend up there before it is closed for the winter mid october. the moonlight was bathing everything in its glow and i said oooh lets go stand on the dock. the water was perfectly silent and like a mirror. all the living things have gone into hibernation or died so it was completely silent except for the crackle of our fire and the sound of the river rushing by about 30 ft away. he looked at me said he loved me very much and got down on one knee. i kinda knew what was going to happen this weekend but had slightly forgotten since i was buzzed.
of course i said yes. it feels pretty awesome and the ring is beautiful. everyone is very happy for us and very excited. ill have lots of helpers planning this! im a little overwhelmed when think of everything that has to be planned but im trying not to worry too much right now. part of me wants the big schebang with the ceremony, white dress and reception but another part of me wants to just go to the court house and have a kegger.
im very happy.
in other news for some reason my fish has lost an eyeball. poor stumpy.
