today was humbling.
i was in baltimore last night, originally for a show but then that was cancelled so i went anyway for a party, long story.
anywho, woke up this morning and kinda wanted to get out so i decided to stop by DC on the way back, parked at the EPA and walked around the mall.
first stop was the National Archives, where i seemed to be the only person there that cared about the fact that i was inches, literally INCHES from the declaration of independance. to see those names (though they're very faded, can't see most of them) written in the original hand was amazing.
after that, was the National Art Museum. I stood and stared (once again, seemingly the only person that have a shit) at Dali's "The Sacrament of the Last Supper" for at least an hour, and was also taken aback by the numerous Monet, Manet, and Renoir's in the french gallerys. The older italian stuff bored me, though they did have one DaVinci piece which was nice.
Also went to the Air and Space museum, but it sucked.
Love you guys, tata.
