So, I FINALLY came up with an artist name that wasn't taken! ZoneKiller It's a reference to Cronenberg's Videodrome. Anyway, I've got my SoundCloud all changed up and a new Facebook Artist page! They're both babies, newborns really. Low on content. But I'm just beginning! So if you're into synthwave ('80s inspired retro-future electro style music) come and like my pages, follow me, the

Despite everything going on lately I surprisingly was hit with a spark if motivation, creativity, and inspiration. I got to working on a new track and it really started to take off. To add to the good fortune, I managed to get my iMac up and running, which had essentially been down for the past 19 months. Now my iMac is my dedicated music production...

Active shooter on post today. Locked down for about five hours. Details on news. Just haven't seen anyone talking about it on here.

It's been a hot minute. I haven't posted anything here for a while, not since my lamentation of SG days past that I hardly knew. I haven't even given my personal website any love since the new year.

Truth is I've been pretty preoccupied. The last couple of weeks in December and the first week in January had me eyeball deep in music. You see,...

Good luck with our competition... even though the music is not my cup of tea. Earl Grey... now that is a cup of tea.

Yeah. Zero minutes ago. I posted again in the thread "Do You Use SG More Or Less Than You Used To?" Nothing new. I just felt like regurgitating my frustrations in a Twitter-esque pile of brevity at the bottom of the comments, as I'd only 10 days ago let out how I really feel in many more words.

Best decision ever? That's what I thought

It's funny you said that, @pyromethious. I almost made a soda reference myself. But I agree with you.
horror_head:
I've felt kind of bored with it since most of my friends (whom I used to talk to regularly) left en masse. None of them liked the site change. I told myself that I wouldn't leave just because of a change, and just because they all did it. But it doesn't feel like a place where one can make friends, anymore. There are only a few people keeping me here; you said it perfectly. It's a 180 from what it used to be, but I remember feeling bad things brewing when they implemented the Member-Review system, way back when.  It feels a lot like Twitter... ugh.

I wrote a pretty lengthy blog entry about this whole Justine Sacco mess.

I suggest you read it on my personal website.

Here's a direct link to the entry.

This morning, just before noon, my divorce was finalized. After a grueling 13½ months since the date of separation the stress and strain of the impending divorce is over. Though I didn't get what I would call a "100% victory" I still essentially came out on top. I stood up for what I thought was right, did the right things, and though I wasn't rewarded

It is a good thing to hear that this dark and painful chapter is over for you. Give it time and things will change. For now just focus on slowly getting your life back in order. Wish you the best buddy!

I left Austin, TX about an hour ago and the flight is nice. Got a few drinky-drinks and some coffee in me. Feels good.

I've got Lazerhawk on the iPod, and boy is it nice.

Hey, @ramen, get out of of my SkyMall mag.

Oh no, let's not lose traction here!  Not a fan of Oizo, don't know Justice. Uh... Uh... Okay, how about Maethelvin?  There's so much more that I like that isn't dream wave/'80s synthy but I don't know what else you like!
pyromethious:
guess they know @ramen is a taste to appreciate huh. ;-)

I don't care what anyone says to me. I don't believe I'm an attractive person. And if I am, then I'm not attractive to the [kind of] people I'm attracted to.

First off, I rarely get any kind of compliments about my looks or appearance. I'm not shallow or narcissistic, so I don't require or seek out such compliments. I'm just saying that I don't...

@pentaclefilms It's like a sick joke life/mother nature/the universe/whatever god may or may not exist played on a random group of people.  "Oh, you like small gals with small boobs?  Here's an endless line of fact chicks to fawn over you."  http://tinyurl.com/oxc4q2g
pyromethious:
The irony I've come across is that the opposite seems to be true attraction wise. I've seen/know many tiny gals who really dig 'larger' men. Either way it's the way they feel. Just gotta find that group that's hiding. My satirical belief is that the reason I never found one online is that the kind of person I'd be best with wouldn't put themselves in that position. IE: they'd rather be out and about than online anyway. What's the song? "Lookin for love in all the wrong places."

Hey look: it's another "I've been gone so here's why" blogs.

I find most of them to be filled with "I've been SO busy," telling us all tales of wonder and excitement. This, my friends, is anything but.

I've been overcome by crippling depression brought on by about every factor you can name in my life with one exception: Ichi & Mr. Bond. No, really....

Well, as this post indicates getting out and meeting people here is impossible, and going out further isn't possible because of my money situation.  Funny you mentioned the dating site deal @arroia.  Did you see my latest blog entry?
pyromethious:
if it makes you feel better, I DO have both a 2 and 4 year degree. Neither of which seem to be worth the paper they're printed on. I've been paying on the first, but the second starts in march, but I can't afford that any more than I can Really afford this one now as it cuts into my...well everything. As for the dating thing, I gave you a hint on the other blog. :-p
