Anyway, when I was living in the dorms at my school I had a concrete walls and a bathroom between my neighbors....but I STILL heard their shitty music. It's a requirement for college to have to listen to shitty music from your neighbors.
Also, my roommate LOVED the alkeline trio and all that stuff while I listen to...a WIDE variety...but nothing that emo. the best part was that we were so polite to each other and we despised each others music taste so much that you could always guarantee if someone was playing their music outloud, the other immediately had headphones on...all without a speaking a word.

That sucks. I'm so glad I didn't live in the dorms, although apartments are all that much better. My neighbors constantly play music really loud, which doesn't bother me, except that the bassline is always do do do do do, so I get to listen to do do do do do do do do do do do do do all night. And they prop open our security door even though they have their own entrance.
