lookin in the mirror is weird. i'm almost 32 now. i joined this site when i was 24. some weird perspective.
i see the lines of the years these days. little things - to me at least. maybe more to some. i'm still pretty sure i look young for my age ... but i see things. new scars. old tattoos. creases that weren't there before. used to think i would't get older, but here i am. i ain't let up. i live as hard as i did 10 years ago. maybe that's why all this is so. who was i at 22? i don't even remember. i barely remember last week, let alone 10 years ago.
been a lot of cigarettes.
been a lot of beers.
a year used to seem like so long. now ... not so much. pretty sure a lot has changed. well, on the direct front - sure. overall, not so sure. i think i'm mostly the same filthy rock'n'roller i was back then.
more scars, more ink, dirtier lungs and a more wrecked liver. but i'm still me.
maybe the hairline's moved a bit, maybe the posture ain't what it was. but goddammit, i'm still a rad sonofabitch.
