Somehow I found myself lying in Sarah's bed last night while she stripped off her goth clothes all the way down to her bra and panties before putting on a vintage white wedding dress. She asked me if I could fix it up for her since she knew I've been taking sewing classes. I told her that I'd see what I could do and she took off the dress and slipped into her pajamas. She climbed into bed next to me and before I knew it she had a book and began to read to me aloud. She started with "Annabel Lee" by Edgar Allen Poe and then "The Raven". omg, I can't imagine anything hotter. It was so awesome, I was so turned on. I'm such a goth nerd.
She was asleep by the time I finished reading "The Black Cat". We passed out in her bed, but nothing happened between us. Of course nothing was gonna happen with a third person in the bed, lol. Yeah, my friend Salo777 was sleeping there on the other side of her. He wasn't around for the wedding dress part but there was only one place to sleep in the apartment so we all shared her bed.
This morning I did the "walk of lame" home. Not to be confused with the "walk of shame", the "walk of lame" is when you walk home after having not-gotten-any and the girl just wants to sleep instead of driving you so you have to walk home through Arlington on a bright Sunday afternoon in your goth clothes while all the families coming home from church stare at you.
Still, it was a wonderful night. It started off with Sarah, Salo and I going to Dark Intentions, a goth night at a club in Lowell. Sarah opened up a tab but the bar didn't take credit cards so she left her card as collateral with the intention of paying with cash later. Sarah was being generous and I didn't buy a single drink all night. I just charged everything to her tab, even drinks I boughtfor other girls (well, just one drink), lol . We were already pretty drunk by 1am and Sarah suggested that we rent a room in a nearby hotel and drink there all night. It sounded like a good plan except we realized later that we didn't have any alcohol with us, except for the 2 heinekens in her back seat, so we decided to go back to her place and drink there instead. Sarah unfortunately forgot to close out her tab though, so we went home without paying and without her credit card.
Before Friday I hadn't actually seen Sarah since before she went to Amsterdam back at the end of July. I'd talked to her a few times on the phone and we texted each other but she hasn't gone out much recently and the times she did go out, I was elsewhere. It didn't matter much to me, though, cause I knew she was seeing someone, and although she claimed it was a casual rebound relationship it meant that things weren't likely to work out between her and me. Oddly enoughm I ran into the guy she was seeing quite frequently. I wanted to hate him, but he was just so damn nice to me. He always buy me drinks and we'd talk and he was just so... friendly. He had no idea that I had a crush on his sort-of gf.
You can imagine my surprise when I got an e-mail from Sarah on Thursday morning saying that the guy had just told her that he "had sex with a dude" while she was away in Amsterdam. . Half of me was totally shocked and the other half of me was cracking up laughing. Sarah did not take it well. It's not that she felt like he cheated on her -- they were in an open relationship, and it's not the fact that he is apparently bisexual (though he always claimed to be completely straight before), but rather the fact that he decieved her and didn't tell her for 4 weeks and put her at risk for diseases by not being upfront about his current sexual partners. She told me she kicked him out of the car when she found out, and then went home and got the single possesion he had left at her place (a tennis racket) and smashed it into tiny pieces and threw it at his apartment.
I met up with her on Friday night at The Model Cafe in Allston Rock City, where I was hanging with Sid, TheFullNelson, and MissTyrios. We talked about this situation a little bit and drank some beers and agreed to go hang out on Saturday.
You'd think that now that she and him are through that I'm totally back in the game, right? Well, not exactly. It seems she still isn't over her bf she was originally reboundiing off of -- this is the guy she met in college long ago and dated for four and a half years, four of them long distance. She stills believes that they are meant to be and will be together again someday. Nice.
I have so much fun hanging out with her though. She is so intelligent, so dynamic and so attractive. <3 She may be totally nuts, but she just might be the right kind of nuts for me. Even if things don't work out though, I think she is awfully fun to at least have as a friend. Still, it's kind of tough, when you hang out with someone you used to have a crush on, sometimes those feelings creep back and it stings a little bit.
We'll see what happens. Hopefully she'll go to Ceremony tomorrow. I wish I had the time to make the outfit out of white PVC that I had planned (and I have 6 yards of it ).

For those of you wondering, the situation with my apartment is going better. I found out on Saturday that Maggie, my new roommate is indeed still moving in.. I'm determined to make the place totally awesome and my parents drove up from New York today to help me work on it. I also had my friends Shawn and Christina over and we stripped paint and wallpaper, painted, wallpapered, prime, cleaned, and all that. I have a lot of stuff I still want to do, like refinished the bathtup, regrout the tiles in the bathroom and install a ceiling fan in the living room, but I think its coming along rather nicely so far. I still haven't moved any of my stuff in so far though.
