I've been in a bad mood the past couple of days.
First, I'm not happy to be back in Boston. My nice roommate (Sara) has been away and so its just me and my evil roommate (Margaret) who it is very awkward and annoying to be around (cause of the no talking and all that). I can't wait until she moves out. Also, my job has been pretty boring this week. I'm waiting for the manufacturing peeps to finish the hardware they've been working on, so I can finally test what I've written for it.
Tomorrow is my second sewing class and I'm supposed to bring in a pattern, fabric and a sewing machine. I have no idea what I want to sew yet, though, and I haven't even bought a pattern yet - I wish she had just assigned something to us! Even worse, I don't even have a sewing machine yet! When I signed up for the class, I had assumed I would just use Margaret's machine. When it became obvious that wasn't gonna happen, I called my mom and she told me I could take hers. But when I went back to NY this weekend, we could't find the sewing machine anywhere and my grandma couldn't find hers either. So now I'm stuck and I'll be the only person at class without a sewing machine . I might just have to suck it up and spend $175 on a new one at Sears, although that is actually more than the class itself costs!
Friday is "Crush" at ManRay and while I'm really excited about it, I don't know anyone who is going (I'm so used to going with Margaret - who is going to spread the gold powder on my back?) and I haven't made any progress on my outfit yet at all. Maybe I won't go at all and go to that thing in NH that Fetish has been talking about. Anyone interested in going to either of these things? I'm willing to drive.
The good news is that I'm going to see Sleater-Kinney tomorrow, and that looks like it should be fun.
ok, that's enough whining for. Time to get back to work.

I know you have to make something for class. If you need someone to make it for in the future I'll gladly give you the measurements that you need
