B&D Ball
This Friday was the 14th annual B&D ball at ManRay.This year the theme was latex and I wanted to look good so I spent a *ton* of money on latex clothing. It was my first time ever wearing latex and now I know what a fish must feel like. (if a fish wore latex). I had to lube myself up beforehand to get the clothes on but maybe I used to much as I found my pants kept on wanting to slip off all night. Someone needs to invent latex suspenders.
My roommate Sara must think I'm crazy. She noticed my pants had 5 zipper pulls on a long zipper that starts in the front but goes all the way around and up the backside. I thought about it and realized that you can use 4 of the zipper pulls to open up two holes. Yeah, I know. Those pants weren't really designed for straight guys like me, lol.
I got my pic taken by the photographer there again (same guy who took my "silverman" pics).
I had a great time. Lots of SG people were there. I saw
Sid, Quiescence, and gasmaskboy, and I met katie1 and mydivide from NH. And I met the lovely limbo girl Frost who I spent most of the first half of the night showing around ManRay. Quiescence had a really fancy outfit he designed with lots of ribbons and things. I do hope he took pictures of it and posts them soon! He also was in a performance which was great. I don't really remember it so well but there was two guys and a bunch of dancing girls and it was really good.
I also ran into my favorite ManRay regulars, Tracey, Drew, Carl, Jinx, and Dan. Too bad my roommate Margaret missed it, but she was on vacation in Ireland, so she had a good excuse.
Afterwards, there was an afterparty at Qui's place where I met Fenchurch and Minimalism909 for the first time.
Sushi Adventure!
Saturday was a SG Boston sushi outing at Gyuhama in Boston. Let's see if I can remember who was there...Granny, BoundCreature, Minimalism909, Fenchurch, Sid, Alkaholic23, TheFullNelson, my_name_is_Keith, and TheRedBaron.
Again, it was a great time. We ordered so much sushi that my half of the table got a large wooden boat. We had quite a bit of leftover sushi so Granny decided to re-enact "Titanic" with pieces of sushi, except this version had pirates and sea monsters (spider maki rolls with crab legs sticking out). I must admit, her version was much better than the movie! It was my first time meeting Granny and she is hi-larious.
After dinner, some of us went to ManRay, some went home and some went back to Sid's place to hang where we drank, talked about the SG East Coat Camping Trip, and watched Red vs Blue. After hearing all about the camping trip, I was convinced that I need to go too. In fact, I'm really looking forward to it now.
It was a crazy fun weekend, and I didn't even write about the madness I returned to on Friday night when I came home and found my roommate with all these people over that I don't think she knew, all the candles in apartment lit and her drunk off her ass. So drunk that she woke me up the next morning at like 11am ("Miiiiike! Miiiiike! Wake up!!") and she was still drunk, lol. But that's a story for another time. It's bedtime now.
