beh,
I haven't written much recently because there really hasn't been much to write. Even though I went out ever night last weekend, it was sort of a bust. I didn't have a good of a time as I normally do. I dunno know why - maybe the "going out" fad is beginning to pass? On Sunday I went to a wedding. That's pretty much all I have to say about that. It wasn't a particularly boring wedding, but it wasn't particularly fun either. Weddings are all the same anyways, and I've been to 9 in my modern life so far.
I haven't really talked to any of my friends all week. I'm not sure why. Maybe they have been busy and haven't had time to IM me. Maybe they are just waiting for me to IM them. I did talk to Melissa online yesterday though for a little bit. Somehow, I knew she was going to call me and want to go out. So after work (and the gym), I went home, made myself a bowl of Cheerios and canned tuna (you should try it!) and watched TV while waiting for her to call. Well, not really "waiting", I just knew she'd call.
Sure enough, she did. It really goes against everything she said to me about "the two of us probably shouldn't hang out alone" and all that crap, but whatever. Some people might I'm being used, but we are just hanging out - how is that being used? I appreciate the company too. And its nice to not be the one asking her to hang out (though its still confusing).
We met at 10:30 at the Cactus Club on Bolyston St which seems to be becoming our regular place. I had 3 margaritas over the course of the night, Melissa only had one drink. She says the 4 drinks she had last Thursday was a bit much for her, understandably. she has class at 8:45am every morning. We talked, some pleasant conversation. It was fun, I must admit. She went home a little bit after midnight to catch the T. I was too drunk to drive at that point, so I walked down the street to my favorite place - The Foggy Goggle.
Never a dull moment there.
It was rather empty, as it often is on Thursday nights. There was a group of 3 girls that were pretty wasted and I watched some guys dance with them, but... despite my changes in attitude, that still isn't "me". It just seemed like they were taking advantage of them. Or maybe I'm not comfortable getting attention from a woman just cause she is drunk (and doesn't know better). Some guys even commented to me, "Why are you sitting down? I pointed out the girl earlier, you could be..." well, it was a little crude. Isn't that what I want?
In the meantime, I decide I'm in love with the whipped cream girl. Well, I'm not "in love" with her. Its not even a crush. And there certaintly are hotter bartenders there. But I've decided to take a likely to her. Because its fun. Its a fantasy. I'll make it a point to flirt with her every time I go there, just for the hell of it.
It's amazing how those bartenders can talk me into a jello shot. I hit my limit for drinking, waited 2 hours, and then went home when it closed. I'm a little bit hungover today, yet, I'm probably going to do the same thing again tonight.
And then again tomorrow night.

It seems like mellisa and you have really become good friends nowa days. Hey it's not a bad thing. Sometimes people find friendship in the weirdest places. By the way, what's up with the cheerios and a can of tuna thing?? I'm quite curious..
