Hallo Everyone!
I know I promised more updates, but its almost like too many things keep happening for me to write them here. Of course the vast majority of them aren't too interesting, but as you've noticed, when I tell a story, I don't skimp on any of the details.
I still have this stupid cold. It tends to fade by Wednesday or so, which means I'll go out on Thursday and Friday and Saturday and feel exhausted on Sunday which means it'll prolly come back on Monday... and repeat. I'm stubborn and I'm not willing to give up a weekend to get better though.
I know it sounds weird, but often I've been going out a lot by myself recently. Its not really that bad, I like the freedom it gives me to go where I want. Also, its hard to drag my friends out who seem to have "settled down" and...
lol, let me take that back, as I was writing that my friend Shawn called and asked me what I was up to tonight and if I wanted to go hang out. The bad news is that since it is 10:15pm now, I'm going to, once again, cut this short.
Anyways, even though I made this resolution not to hang out with Melissa (that's Shawn's ex-gf) two-weeks, she called me up last night and asked me to go drinking with her. Margaritas at the Cactus Club followed by dancing at the Foggy Goggle. And I learned *way* more about her sexual history than I wanted to hear. Well, I was drunk, and it is interesting. Also its kind of surprising she called me up at all given that we had just had a really stupid argument about flu shots and it seemed like I had really pissed her off. And I thought she had the same resolution about hanging out with me. She is such a tease. At the Cactus Club we have a serious conversation about how we can't dance together cause that is too sexual and creepy cause I'm her ex-bf's ex-roommate. Not that I tried to dance with her last time we were at - I was a perfect gentleman. But then, we head over to the Foggy Goggle, and no one else is dancing except for her and she is just tempting me, and I say "I can't dance with you, what did you just tell me?" and she says something like, "Show me how you would dance with a girl you meet in a place like this" or something. I didnt dance with her - well, I did but I left plenty - like 10 feet - of room between us. I sort of regret it, and it was kind of ridiculuous. I guess she was a little drunk. I did have fun though. It would have been a boring night by myself cause the place was empty.
In the meantime, I'm wondering if I dropped the ball with the girl at work. She's become more friendly to me again. A bunch of my coworkers were out drinking tonight, and one of them mentioned he was going to go out to the movies. I was going to go a long (with him and she was going to go along too), but I didn't cause I was soooo exhausted and a little bit hungover so I wanted to just go home and take a nap. She seemed... dissappointed. I really did want to go, but I was completely out of it. I went home and took a 3 hour nap. Which leads me to where I am now...
