sooo bored... but I lack the energy to do anything. I slept all day. I haven't done my laundry or cleaned my apartment or gone to the grocery store. I'm too lazy to even look for my video games or set up my playstation to play them. I hate the rug in my living room. It's disgusting, but I can't justify buying a new one just yet. I have too many debts to pay off right now.
It's hot in here... I have an air conditioner but I'm too lazy to put it in. I have beer, but I'm too lazy to drink it. I'm surprised I even had the energy to write this journal entry.
Since I'm not going actually *do* anything, let me write about the great ideas I had about how I could spend the day. What I wanted to do today:
- do my laundry
- pay my bills
- e-mail my old roommate about the utility bills she owes and the key she hasn't yet returned
- vacuum the apartment, mop the kitchen, clean the bathroom
- go outside, get some exercise, and some sun
- brush my cats' teeth
- find my missing DVD/movies (probably in my friends basement somewhere).
- dust
- draw up the patterns for the PVC pants/top that I'm going to sew. draw the patterns for the latex shirt I'm designing
- hang out with my craziest friend Leila who is in NH for some reason
- have a party for Sid
- go to Toast, which I haven't been to in over 2 months
- play Final Fantasy 7 till my eyes bled (why 7? I have no idea).
- trim the bottom of my door so it actually *opens*
- scrub the stains out of my rugs
- finally beat God of War (when I ever find it!)
- watch any of those 5 dozen movies I have yet to watch
- write a program to compute blackjack odds in haskell
- write an entry in my fake live journal
- buy some more CDs, I need more music to listen to
- buy Dazed and Confused. Watch that
- paint my living room
- order a new wheel for my car (thumpa thumpa)
- tune my guitar and play "Everlong" for a few hours
- order some T-shirts on the internet (homestar runner, angeldustrial...)
- get prequalified for a mortgage
- write an OpenGL demo for the big screen at work in order to suck up to my boss
- clean out all the junk on my computer
- sign up for World of Warcraft again and start playing that
- go to Home Depot, buy some tiles, and retile the hallway
- refinish the tub
- take out the garbage
- spend some quality time with my cats
- stop listening to Blue's Traveler "But Anyway" on repeat
- buy Wicked, read it
- buy the soundtrack to the broadway musical adaptiation of Wicked
- buy theater tickets to see Wicked on broadway
- figure which of the 5 girls I invited to see Wicked with me I'm actually gonna take
- shave
- go tanning
- call my dentist and make an appointment to get that crack in my veneer fixed
- borrow my friends bicycle, ride to the end of the bike trail and back
- cut my toenails
- get the annoying mole on my stomach removed
- buy a new rice cooker or get my back from Josh
- clean out my pantry
- go to the pet store and get some more toys and food and litter for my cats
- buy new bedding and towels
- call my landlord and ask him to fix the holes in all the window screens
- practice calligraphy
- cut my fingernails
- throw away all my clothes that are failling apart
- order some new jeans
- lose 20 pounds
- go to the gym
- call my parents
Of these things, I'd done...
- paid my bills (halfway done)
- spent some quality time with my cats
- took a nap
Yes, I've accomplished a lot today.
