So, I am trying to convince Zach that Baby needs a friend. She is so sad and bored now that Sam is back with her people. She just sleeps all day and lets out her energy on the cats (eep!) and barks at the construction behind our house. She really does seem depressed. And the fact that she gets so wound up when we take her for walks makes it more difficult for us to want to take her out, and we can't take her to the dog park because there are always like 50+ dogs there and she just can't handle that. She is too overwhelmed and too powerful and she makes other people nervous. But one on one with dogs she is GREAT. I just don't know many people with dogs lol.
I know puppies are hard work and I know they are expensive, but I don't want her to be lonely all the time
Plus since my English project I have been in contact with a lot of really awesome shelters and rescues that all say they would love to work with me on finding a new baby brother or sister for our Baby. I want her to have someone other than the cats to hang out with while we are at work.

I saw a dog whisperer episode where they were looking for a good companion for a couple's dog. It was really cool how they tried to match their temperaments and ease the new dog into the house without making the old dog feel like its territory was being invaded. I think a new friend would be great as long as they get along.
