ok so, my bus ride was awesome. i met a bunch of cool people, and got really fucked up and now im somewhere near but not quite in calgary.
im freaking out a bit, because instead of getting the $600 in vacation pay i was anticipating, i got $60, and the superbowl party at cowboys netted me about $100. so im about $1000 short of what i thought i would have right now, and the fact i only have about $100 in the bank is kind of getting to me.
BUT there is a bright side, i think. Natalie got us a show at some amateur night in Red Deer, but it pays $100 so i think thats alright despite the requirements, and I have an audition at the Cecil in Vancouver on Tuesday.
this is so random. i mean, i knew this what i was going to be doing when i got out here, but for some reason i thought it was going to be easier. or something.
and now im done with the internet because i just checked like 75 emails and a bunch of messages and now m eyes hurt and i need a nap.
oh, and just so no one is disappointed - my first night in albeta, i went to a house party and met a boy. of course.
his name is cody and he's from windsor and he is so fucking awesome. we hung out, mashed drunk for a whole night and then we cuddled on a couch til we passed out. awwwwww. this guy renewed my faith in guys, and i'll probably never see him again. which sucks, but i got his number and instructions to call when my ontario number changes to a BC number. so i think i just might do that .... who knows .... he may want to visit Van someday. hahaha.
i cant believe i just blogged about money and boys. oh well. im tired. bye for now guys. i cant wait until im in a place i can get comfy and call home.
