You must have had a good time; it's a royal pain in the ass, replacing documents, undoing the snafus caused by bank card cancellation / anti-fraud controls, etc. Good not to look back and count your blessings as you seem to be. Nothin' better than partying and hanging out with friends in a different city. I've heard Vancouver's one of the groovier ones, even though I've never been north of Seattle on that beautiful West Coast, varied and soothing as it is.

You know, it's funny: anytime I go visit friends on the West Coast, I consistently ask myself what the fuck I'm doing living where I do, far from ocean or significant mountains, somewhere in the heart of Squaresville, U.S.A.
