I haven't updated in a while, and this is a much needed update. I will reply to my blog comments as soon as I get a chance from the previous blog. Hopefully that will be tomorrow.
Nursing school is absolutely busy. I haven't had a break, haven't slept enough, and with the semester coming to an end it's only getting busier. So I am still here, just not able to reply as fast.
Now for the good news.
One.
I am now officially engaged to avarice25, in the most different way ever. a backward engagement to say the least, but to me, it fits perfectly. He and I had been talking about getting married, whether or not it be before or after his deployment was the question, and we decided to only become engaged over Christmas, wait on the wedding and not to rush it. When I stayed the night at his house after his grandfather had passed away, I found out that his grandmother had asked his grandfather to marry her in a letter when he was stationed overseas. My first thought - perfect. He was unsure if I really wanted to get engaged, and wanted me to ask just to make sure anyways. So i took out my lovely pen and paper and started writing explaining exactly why I was asking him to marry me in a letter instead of in person. My intentions were for him to get the letter on his birthday, on November 10th, and that was exactly what happened. He said yes. Today when I was on webcam, being that our relationship is a distanced one, webcam is what he live for, he pulled out the ring and said "Lauren, will you marry me?" and showed me a very pretty ring. Most people would probably want to be surprised, but over webcam to me was totally perfect. When he comes home for Christmas break in less than a month he will be my fiance in my arms. The spontaneity and differences of our relationship from others makes me absolutely ecstatic and it keeps my heart beating a million beats per second.

Oh yeah, did I mention it was his birthday? He's getting old. the big wopping 24. here soon he'll be in a wheel chair wearing dentures.
Two.
I heard back from Lorelei and hopefully here soon my set will be going up into MR. I hope to shoot with her again soon over the break or sometime another as well.
Three.
Halloween was great. That was the little break I got, other than football games. here are a few recent photos from Halloween.
The first day, I stole someones banana suit. I was definitely a rockin banana.
But then people kept trying to eat me.
So I gave the stolen banana back. And then I watched the real banana man get eat attacked by a big gorilla wolf man.
So I became a vampire instead.
And gorilla wolf man shared his banana banana with me and I became friends with him and Ms. Black Cat. Little did he know I stole the banana suit the previous day. Sneaky sneaky me.
Shh. Don't tell.
Four.
It is now officially my bed time. It is 12:27 am and I have to wake up at 05:00. Sleep deprivation starts all over again. When the chance permits, the comments and messages will be replied to. I have lost over 15 pounds since this semester. Stress does a lot.
And last but not least.
I want a pet hedgehog damnit.
That thing is freaking adorable.
I leave with that.
