I'm feeling very old today.
I caught myself thinking "the world is going to hell", which is not, perhaps, innacurate, but speaks of a refusal to accept the fact that the world is already hell, and has always been hell.
I'm drunk, and strangely vibrant, and filled with vile thoughts regarding our sad excuse for a democracy.
I find myself unable to avoid the disturbing fact that I'm living comfortably off of the rape (both literal and metaphorical) of a variety of third world countries. The bottom line: Somewhere in the world right now (Turkey, East Timor, most of South and Central America) someone is being murdered by death squad goons who were trained by my government, using a weapon payed for by my tax dollars.
To quote Warren Ellis (in Transmetropolitan) "I've discounted suicide in favor of killing everyone else in the world."

very well stated. Im curious, just how much vodka had to be consumed to arouse these worldly abstract thoughts?
