ahhh the weekend tomorrow - nice one.
i do have an event on saturday night but only 1200 people so not too hectic and it finishes at 3am which is very civilised.
feeling really on top of work finally.
i had the best dates this week-
tuesday we went to sydney aquarium, that place rocks and it is open until 10pm every night
wednesday we went to art after hours at the art gallery of nsw. the dobell prize for drawing is showing - there is some great stuff. had a cheese plate and a glass of wine in the bar afterwards where there was a great jazz trio playing, very mature
last night we walked form home to bondi icebergs and has cocktails on the balcony overlooking bondi beach - i love this city, it is so beautiful

im taking 3 history classes including a seminar with a 30 page paper and also a teaching class where i have to do 60 hours of practicum work teaching/assisting in a high school and a middle school over the course of the term. and i'll be working too. should be fun.
also, my dad was helicoptored from the veteran's home where he lives, to the university of iowa hospital last night because his blood pressure was plummeting and they couldnt stop it. hes a diabetic and he has a bunch of other health problems. i think he wont live much longer.
but, today i talked to this girl i kinda dig and maybe, just maybe i can get her to do something with me socially in the near future when SHES not working full time and going to school.
we'll see.
