So I'm sitting in this coffee shop in Monument, Colorado waiting for the photo guy to come back from his lunch break at the grocery store next door so that I can pick up my photos.
Thank god for sidekicks (the phone, I have no need for super hero sidekicks. I'm too badass for that.) otherwise I'd be bored off my ass sitting here. Childrens books are entertaining for only so long.
I could walk back to my sisters house but I'd rather not have to come back later so here I sit waiting for an hour.
Walking to the store reminded me of why it sucks to walk anywhere in suburbia. There's no sidewalks except for in the neighborhoods so you get to walk along the road with cars zooming by just to get to the grocery store. It makes me miss nyc.
I've lived in ny for a year and a few months and even though the start was lonely and lame I've loved being there. It feels right and I'm content with it. I wonder how long that will last tho.
Everyone seems to begin to hate it for some reason or another. I don't know how those people feel, but from the very begining I've loved everything about it, even the shitty stuff like the noise, never ending concrete, rude people, and the homeless. I haven't a clue as to why.
Ah, its 2.30 yay for photos!

But, as you so perfectly said it above, the city can be my salvation. I really do like it here, especially after spending Thanksgiving in backwoods Connecticut.
Hope you had a great Holiday weekend, and thanks again!
