Ok Updated to add more pictures.
Hi everyone!
Just sitting here watching the history channel about Alexander, one of my hero's, and yes, I thought the movie was good too.
Got together with the those crazy kids again, where we watched odd videos of them from years ago.
Not much else to say so here's some pictures...
My brother, Alyxx, Brandon, Mark and Mike.
Mike and Alyxx, vulcans are sexy!
Mike, Alyxx, and Me.
Finger of doom?
OK so I watched The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, that movie was great, i'm sad I haven't seen it before. Also rented Immortal, Its looks like a cross between stargate and the fifth element, but I haven't watched it yet so I hope it's good.
Well I was up in the mountains so I took these pictures...
you all!

Anyway, about Dune, what I really like is the meticulous work done on the setting and the context and the universe that the characters live in. That's why I think the Dune Encylopedia is such a cool book (although not authored by Herbert).
I also love the parallels between Dune and the Arab and Ottoman Turk empires, and the modern Arab world as well.
I've starting some writing on my own 'saga', but all the work I've done is on the setting and the backdrop, since I think that one of the things that makes Dune great.
