No, not at all...
I'm just shooting on a basic Canon Rebel 2000 (film). I think all of those shots were with the lens that came with it...28-80 f3.8-5.6. I don't really like staged work. My favorite to shoot is landscape and candids. The minute everybody stops and poses, I can assure you that it will be off center and out of focus.

I glance dat your work. I'll check it out more when I get to the office. I'm cursed with dial-up at home and have little patience to wait for anything to load.

The cat....such a tragic things. Its beautiful ans so incredibly sad. Thats a good shot. I know what you mean about the shots Ive taken but they were just a selection of about 40 specimens which I decided to document all in the same way and they were displayed together but I still have all of them in the freezer so I can use them for other forms of photography too.

TaoMonkey got this tiny monkey that grows like 4 times it's size in water. It wasn't until halfway through the process we discovered the cancerous tumor. I think this can represent us all.

I don't know much about photography but I just wanted to say that I thought that your pictures are beautiful, disturbing, and thought-provoking (except for the Spiderman/Wolverine...that was more amusing than anything else). I know that sounds kinda cheesy but I'm serious. I liked the leaf with the water droplet the best. The vibrant green of the leaf caught my attention at first but I found that being able to see the detail in the water droplet on the leaf and then looking down into the bottom of the water it rested on (and the reflections), kept my attention.
