So today marks the end of a surreal and short trip north. A few buddies and I headed to Beaverlodge to go to my roommate's mother's funeral. It was one of those trips that the buddies and I have been meaning to have for some time... only under better circumstances. Road tripping is great.. it leaves so much room for spontinaity, stupidity, great music and greasy food. It was really theraputic to hang out with friends that genueinely care about you for a weekend. Not that the rest of friends aren't great; it my just nice to hang out with the closest ones. This weekend sort of highlighted the importance of good friends to me. I don't have a lot to say about it all, and this is fairly disjointed, but just a few thoughts...
