I've been having a bit of a weird summer because I've been studying for a certification exam and I'll be starting a new (super corporate) job in October. I'm really not looking forward to removing the color from my hair and taking out some of my piercings, but I guess it's just what I have to do for now. Having to change what I look like has been weighing on me a bit, though, and I've felt kind of off recently.
But! I'm unexpectedly going to San Diego to see @ekka, my favorite person ever! We have an awesome time whenever I visit and I'm really looking forward to having some fun before I'm locked in to a very time consuming job. And, as is now traditional, I'll be getting a new tattoo, which may help me deal with some of my mental block about working in a corporate environment.
Only two more days of extra studying and then we'll be having adventures.
