Well, I have my exam date... June 30th. That's the day I get to sit for a three hour exam that will tell me whether I can get a license to do what I love doing for a living. Once I get that lovely piece of paper I've got a lovely site for my office that I'm checking out in the next week or two. It's a sublet from a plastic surgeon which means there's at least a small built in clientle that will get funneled to me for simple but lucrative work to help reduce scars and the fluid that builds up around wounds. It's going to be hella fun and I can't wait so I can leave this 9 to 5 ball and chain behind forever.

In other news, I'm going to be in Vegas this weekend. A friend of the wifey is getting married and so we're using their wedding as an excuse to visit sin city. Right now we're trying to get tickets to Spamalot but barring that I am sure we'll find other trouble to get into while we're out there.

My small fry is turning 10 on Wednesday. I feel so old because it seems like just yesterday she was a toddler running around my front yard playing in her winnie the pooh tent and chasing a kick ball with the dog. To celebrate her hitting double digits we went to a hotel that had a small but nice indoor pool. She loved it because we had the pool to ourselves all day on Saturday. We saw the new Pirates movie, too. She really enjoyed that. I was worried she'd be scared. She doesn't do too well with creepy monster type movies, even Disney ones. She seemed to do okay and was intently chowing down on her popcorn and riveted to the screen. She thinks Johnny Depp wears too much make up and if Orlando Bloom would just get a haircut... Oh to be 10, again. lol
