Wow, what a party! Far too much alcohol and good food made for an entertaining evening. No one attempted earning beads so that was a bummer but it was still fun to see good friends. The weather and whatever that bug is that is going around made a number of the expected guests stay away but that was understandable. So it was a small crowd but a fun one in a geeky sort of way.

We had mardi gras music playing, King cake complete with da baby, hurricanes galore, beads, dubloons - some of them from past parades and of course much laughter. The party did clear up until around 1AM but I am already awake. The party area is pretty much clean which is a good thing. There is so much liquor left over, dayum. I thought I knew more alcoholics than that.

I had a few reasons to drink myself into a stupor last night but I won't go into them here. If you really want to know, ask.
