Another weekend has slipped on by without incident. I had a tad too much to drink on Friday night after I put the kiddies to bed. I guess I'm building my tolerance back up because I didn't have a hang over the next morning. I was watching some stupid movies and I was apparently out of it enough that I don't remember what was on the screen.
If you are a guy as old as me, you should never agree to take your teenage stepdaughter and others shopping. This is especially true if the teenager is going underwear shopping and you get stuck accompanying her because you have all the credit cards. Why, you ask? Because, teenagers invariably become smart asses and will announce loudly in the store, "Do you think I'll look sexy in this?" just to fuck with you and everyone else in the store. Yeah, the looks I got from other people at the time were both priceless and made me think I needed a bodyguard to get back to my car safely. IMy stepdaughter loves to mess with people's heads and so do I, most of the time. I've purposely held hands with someone almost half my age just to piss women off and give older men heart attacks.
Why are people so hung up on age in dating? It is a number and it isn't even your number, so why care? If two people like each other, why should age ever even be a factor? I guess I'm just entirely too much of a live and let live person. I don't see the big deal. Like I said, I've held hands and even kissed someone who was 15 or so years my junior. It felt like any other kiss I've had, nothing forbidden or earth shattering about it.
Anyway, on with the post. (I love when I get distracted in a post)
Last night, I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I have seen parts of it before but never the whole movie from start to finish. It's a fun but odd dark little movie. Corbin Bernsen is starting to look really old. I remember him from LA Law about twenty years ago, back when he had hair. I had intended to watch The Yards also but I was starting to get a little tired, mostly from running my ass off yesterday, so I bagged it, I may watch that tonight, who knows.
This week , I am going to try to get into DC later in the week and take some pictures. I haven't done that in forever. This spring I think I am going to find some out of the ordinary things to photograph just to have fun. I'm just looking forward to winter being over for another year. Maybe this spring I'll buy a bike and go tooling around on that. That would definitely be something new and different. I haven't been on a bike since I was a little kid.
Anyway, enjoy your Sunday. I've got a busy few days ahead of me dealing with issues of my previous post.
