Today is a very very good day. I have just been informed that I finally get to go home. My final day in the army is the 26th of May. I'm not gonna start driving home till after the 1st of June though. But yes that is the down side to this whole thing. I do have to drive from Georgia to Oregon. And for those of you who are not geographically inclined, thats about 3000 miles. It wouldn't be as bad if my car had a stereo in it, but alas, it doesn't. If anyone happens to read this and has any tips on good places to visit that are between GA and OR, let me know please.
It feels really weird to finally be going home. It has been this far off concept for such a long time now that it just doesn't seem quite real yet. I'm sure it will sink in more as the days go by.
Well I think that thats about it for updates right now. I hope everybody is having a great day too.
