It's been a while since I last did a sketch of the day, I have been pretty busy with a big paid project, I am currently drawing a comic book! It's a great little story and I am really enjoying the challenge of completing so many pages on top of my usual workload, but it hasn't left much time for personal stuff I'm afraid.
Tonight I nicked Hattie's posh new tablet and I had a play with it. I did everything on one layer so I could record it all on Colors! but unfortuantley it didn't capture all of the painting so the video only shows the first 3/4 of what I did. Ho hum, the final exported image stills looks nice ;)
@uynn is a lovely model with a great range of poses, and Hidrico Photography certainly knows how to light their model to reveal the subtleties in their forms very deftly. I'm new to the tablet/stylus setup that Hattie has got but I think that if I was slightly more comfortable with the tools I would have been able to capture so much more. I might need to get me one of these posh tablets one day.... in the mean time I'm happy enough with my cheapo tablet ;)
