Recently Albertine and NaNa submitted a set to us that we published on the site that angered many models and members of the community for a variety of very valid reasons. To say we on staff didn't understand everything in the set and it's meaning is true but doesn't change the fact that we made a serious mistake by choosing to put this set up on the site, as it was clearly not appropriate for our community. For that myself and the entire staff are deeply sorry.
We would like to thank the entire community, especially our outspoken and passionate models for bringing the inappropriateness of the set to our attention. In the future we will be far more meticulous in our set review process.
Apparently this was a response someone got from Missy regarding the offensive and distasteful set posted yesterday. While I am happy to see that the site removed the set in the end I can't help but think it never should have gone up.
I'm sorry but with a staff full of adults, someone had to understand the implications of this set and what the repercussions of putting it up would be in a community with a strong female presence. There was no "hidden meaning" to this set it was obvious that Nana was dressed as a child, and it was obvious she was raped.
I can't help but wonder what is going on when the site won't accept childlike themes because it would draw an undesired audience, yet they will post a set where someone one is depicting- if not, glamorizing child rape.
Thank you to SG for taking the set down, but please, make a more informed decision next time.
Thank you for the comment on my new set! yeah I hope it does get posted up if people vote for it and they like it.
Thanx again!
